Ibiza Summer Season 2014 Highlights

Every year thousands head to Ibiza to soak up some sun and party! This year the white isle is delivering some huge events with birthday celebrations for Cream, Space and Clockwork Orange as well as annual highlights like the BBC Radio 1 Weekend.

Happy Birthday Space Ibiza! Space celebrated it's 25th anniversary on Sunday with an incredible event featuring a 4-hour set from the legendary Erick Morillo, his only appearance this year. Other artists helping Space celebrate were Agoria, Alfredo, Amp+ Deck, Annie Mac, Carl Craig and Fatboy Slim. Upcoming Space events not to miss include: Tuesday 29th July: Carl Cox – Music is Revolution. Featuring: Carl Cox, Heidi, Jon Rundell, Masters at Work and Nic Fanciulli Sunday 10th August: We Love Ibiza: Loco Dice Birthday. Featuring: Josh Wink, Nightmares On Wax and many more. Sunday 14th September: We Love Ibiza: Disclosure presents Wildlife. Featuring: Disclosure (Live), D-Funk, Mat Playford and more.

Ibiza Rocks are giving Monday nights a new lease of life with 20 nights of eccentricity and glamour at Pacha! Highlights will include Pete Tong, Basement Jaxx, 2ManyDJs and Groove Armada. Monday's will never be the same!

 

 

BBC Radio 1 Weekend, Ibiza | Photo: © BBC[/caption] The BBC Radio 1 Weekend is always an epic weekend in Ibiza and this year is no exception. Nick Grimshaw, Zane Lowe, Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Danny Howard, MistaJam, B. Traits and Toddla T are the Radio 1 DJs confirmed to be taking part. The weekend kicks off with a free party at the Ushuaia Beach Hotel in Playa d’en Bossa. On Saturday Radio 1 are collaborating with Cream for a one-off party at Privilege where, starting at midnight, they'll be putting on a 5 hour, back-to-back mix with sets from Steve Angello, Above & Beyond, as well as Sasha and Pete Tong. The weekend is brought to a close with Annie Mac broadcasting live from the island.

Another big night is set to be the Cream Ibiza 20th birthday party, Thursday 31st July at Amnesia. The line up will include Adam Sheridan, Anthony Probyn, Dirty South, Eric Prydz, John O'Callaghan, Laidback Luke, Paul Oakenfold and Paul van Dyk. 20 years on, still going strong!

It's been 15 years since Clockwork Orange last hosted a club night in Ibiza, but to celebrate the 20th anniversary they're coming back to their spiritual home at Es Paradis on Friday 25th July. The Clockwork Orange club nights were legendary between 1994 and 1999, and for one weekend they're back to party! Confirmed so far are: Jeremy Healy, Seb Fontaine, Tall Paul, Brandon Block & Alex P and Clara Da Costa.
