The Girls of Crepe City, London

Posted on 30 March 2017

Women’s streetwear is just constantly evolving. With celebrities like Kylie Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Kim Kardashian breathing a new lease of life in to brands like Champion and Kappa, it’s interesting to see what influence their style has over the UK streetwear scene. So, I headed down to Crepe City at the weekend to see what exclusives I could get my hands on, and it was the girls who stole the show this year! Here are some of our favourite looks from the day...

Crepe City Trainers

Top Left: Nike Air Max 95 Pony Fur Pack                         Top Right: Personalised White Reebok Instapump Fury

Bottom Left: Nike Air Max 97 Sunset                                Bottom Right: Colette x ASICS Gel Lyte III Dotty

Crepe City favourites

It seemed like perfect day to wear your favourite streetwear pieces! We spotted the SS15 Chanel trainers in Cruise Grey, Chanel side bag and Nasir Mazhar jumper all put together in one amazing styled outfit. Her friend wore a pair of Fendi trousers, Stone Island jumper along with some Air Max 95's in white. Their outfits had a very 90's esque feel to them.

Crepe City Supreme

Supreme and Champion featured quite heavily throughout the day. They seemed like the brands of choice most people opted for. But the black and purple Champion bomber, along with the red Supreme x Lacoste tracksuit (latest collab out there) was right there at the top, with some of our favourites looks from the day!

Crepe City Favourites

The last three pieces were definitely a throwback to the 90's as that floral trouser print was huge in the early 90's. We are also seeing a trend in people wearing hip hop tour memorabilia as this girl sports a Supreme x Ruff Riders 14' jumper, dropped with a pair of Air Max 97 OG Colorway. You can't have a throwback with Tommy Hilfiger, that's why this denim jacket is iconic.

It's interesting to see where the major streetwear influences come from, but we can't wait to see what the next big trend will be!

Until next time Crepe City x
